Dragon Age Origins - Buy gifts from Bodhan

Dragon Age: Origins has a gift-giving system for colleagues that is not available in other games. It’s an easy way to increase your approval with your peers. In this sense, gifts are especially valuable for players who can make roleplay choices that certain characters really hate.

There are three types of gifts.

general gift, will give +5 approval points to any companion.
preferred gift, I can give it to all my colleagues +10 approval points When given to a specific colleague.
plot gift, Only available for 1 companion +10 approval points.

You can give a gift to an ally by selecting them from the inventory screen. There are some exceptions to gift giving.

Approval points received decrease the more gifts you give away. in turn.
- For example, the first regular gift grants the player +5 approval points, the next 4 points.
If you have a negative approval rating with your companion If you then give them a gift, the approval you receive will be halved.
- For example, favored gifts give you up to +5 approval points.
Once a colleague Approval is maximum (+100), Gifts no longer give players approval.
