One of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s main side quests involves Cal defeating numerous bounty hunters. You meet Caij Vanda and she informs you that there is a huge bounty on your head. She then tells you where the hunters are so you can take them out before they round you up.
Few of them are easy, but you’ll engage in some pretty tough battles along the way completing side quests. These fights are some of the toughest fights in Jedi: Survivor. From multiple opponents at once to exploring an entire area when a bounty hunter announces you, these get very interesting.
8 kip austa
Kip Ostar is the first bounty offered by Caij Vanda. This kicks off the entire bounty hunter side quest in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Therefore, carrying out Koboh as a sword is an important task.
You can find Kip in the Abandoned Dam area inside the Cave Overrun where the Roller Mine is located. When you reach a dead end, Kip Ostar will pop out from behind the machine. Not only do you have to deal with his shield that blocks your attacks, but the roller mine is ready to explode when it reaches you.
7 mash
Mash is a droid found in Koboh’s Shattered Moon. Caij will explain the droid’s extremely violent tendencies. She’s no exaggeration, so she has to be careful when she’s around Mash. Not only that, he has friends to back him up.
Mash is slow but delivers powerful punches. Focus on the backup first, then take down the droid. This is an exciting bounty hunter fight where the droid keeps making insults at you. It’s also the first bounty you won’t find on Koboh.
6 Corde The Half and PR-85T The Other Half
You will often find bounty hunters with others on the payroll to help them out. Other times, there is a single bounty to collect, but they are found together in the same location. That’s how the duo of The Half and The Other Half work. They are together and because of that they are even more dangerous.
While in Jedha, you can fight this bounty hunter near Ranvell’s Hall. Here you will be bombarded with flash grenades. That’s a bit unfair considering that the shining sun can already blind you on this desert planet. The two will be side by side throughout the entire battle and are one of the few examples of enemy characters working together in all of Jedi: Survivor.
5 Pen Finau, KLE-0 and Marcy Finau
The Finau brothers and their droid companion KLE-0 have one of the hardest battles in the game. It takes place in Nova Garon in a narrow hallway near the hangar bay. You then have little room to maneuver and dodge their attacks, including grenades.
It doesn’t help that the three fight completely differently. A unique experience where you take on a rugged droid, a jetpack user, and a shield-slapping bounty hunter all at once. Take them out one by one and you should be fine.
4 Vaslin Marz
Many bounty hunters in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will ambush you. Vaslyn Martz is the only one to successfully ambush using stealth. Martz has a squad to hold you down. You can find it in the Fogged Expanse area of Koboh.
That fog works badly. Sometimes it will be difficult to see Martz and other bounty hunters in the fog. They will attack when you least expect it and will use the fog as cover to keep you guessing their next move. Using slow abilities to prevent stealth opportunities is the best way to take down Martz and his allies.
three killioso
Kili Oso has a small army at his disposal in Jedha. Caij Vanda will inform you about this, but of course you will jump right in to take him down with Cal Kestis. Head to the planet’s Sanctuary Temple. There you can engage in a wild bounty chase on Oso.
Defeat the bounty hunter outside the temple, then enter the platform and slash another group inside. Drop Oso’s health a bit and he’ll run. You have no choice but to follow him into a trap with two other bounty hunters fighting the same way. As always, focus on getting through them one at a time.
2 Joe the Cannibal
Jo the Cannibal is the last bounty on the board given to you by Caij Vanda. She speaks and has a terrible name, but turns out to be a droid. She is called a cannibal because she destroys other droids and uses their power supplies to make herself stronger.
Jo is on Lucrehulk and has made a deal with the Bedlam Raiders to test Cal. As she fights raiders and bounty hunters, she taunts Carl with a megaphone. Finding this droid is a long journey. When you do, she will send a couple of intruders to harm you before joining her foul-mouthed chatter.
One Kai Banda
When you thought the bounty hunting side quests were over in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, think again. When you go back one last time, you’ll find that Caij isn’t where he usually is. Instead, I left her a message asking her to meet her in Koboh where she first met her.
She reveals that you have been eliminated from the competition and it is time for her to claim your bounty. She has the abilities of every other bounty hunter you’ve ever faced. That said, defeating her would require her cunning, in particular. Doing so will play a rewarding cutscene that includes a great Star Wars cameo.
